Drunk driving is suspected in last night’s devastating accident in Dallas, which killed two adults and critically injured an 8-year-old girl. Witnesses say a driver sped through a red light and plowed into 3 vehicles. One of the vehicles slammed into a utility pole, instantly killing two adults inside and ejecting the girl onto the street. It is unknown if the two adults were the girl’s parents. The driver who caused the accident attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by a witness and held until police arrived. Police arrested the driver and charged him with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault. Witnesses at the crash site detected a strong smell of alcohol coming from the driver.
