Over the past few days, we’ve seen a couple of headlines in Dallas area media concerning awful alleged acts of child sex abuse.

One very disturbing headline concerns a man arrested by the Dallas Police Department based on allegations he sexually abused a minor. Here is a link to the article:
Former Teacher/coach At Dallas Private School Accused Of Sexual Assault Of A Child
It is unclear from this article where the alleged abuse occurred. The article mentions the accused, Matthew Harmon, having worked at The Providence School of Dallas, at Trinity Christian Academy, and during summers at Kanakuk, a Christian summer camp in Southern Missouri, and at one other summer camp in Colorado. It is known that other Kanakuk personnel have been accused in the past of sexual abuse of minor-age camp attendees. Kanakuk has also been accused of not properly handling reports of these accusations. We will see how the recent allegations against Mr. Harmon play out.

Plano Man Arrested On Complaints Of Sexual Assault Of A Child
The Frisco Police Department had this to say about the accused, Christopher Greene, who was originally arrested in April based on sexual assault of a child:
“Based on the information obtained during the investigation, Detectives believe this suspect may have been involved in additional related offenses starting in the 1990s,” police said in a news release.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Frisco Police Department at (972) 292-6010. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by texting FRISCOPD and the tip to 847411 (tip411) or by using the Frisco PD app.”
